Artisan Industries, Inc. is an ISO 9001 and AS9100 certified company. Compliance to these international standards takes our Quality Management System (QMS) to the next level, allowing us to better serve the needs and requirements of our customers. At their core, ISO 9001 and AS9100 require the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of policies and procedures, designed to promote consistent and effective interactions between the organizational components of the company. These standards ensure the production of quality products, that meet our customers’ defined requirements.
As an essential step in assisting us in maintaining compliance to these international standards, Artisan Industries, Inc. has selected the British Standards Institute (BSI), as our third-party registrar. Artisan chose BSI, for both its proactive/partnership approach in working with its clients, as well as its reputation as one of the world’s leading registration bodies.
Founded in 1901 and operating under Royal Charter, (as the world’s first national standards body), it was BSI who first recognized the need for standardization of Quality Management Systems on an international level. BSI submitted a formal proposal to the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), to develop international standards for quality assurance practices; ultimately, BSI’s proposal evolved into the ISO 9000 series of standards, we know and recognize today.
